Traditional braces
Fixed brackets and wires remain one of the most versatile, dependable ways to correct crowding, spacing, and bite problems, including more complex cases that aligners cannot fully address. Modern brackets are smaller and more comfortable than the braces you may remember.

For children, treating early can be simpler than waiting. While the jaw is still growing, gentle appliances can widen a narrow arch, guide healthy development, and create room for adult teeth, often supporting clearer nasal breathing in the process.

- We provide Invisalign clear aligners, traditional braces, and early-intervention (interceptive) orthodontics for children. Dr. Ravi assesses each case and recommends the approach that fits your goals, your bite, and your stage of development.
- Am I a candidate for Invisalign or clear aligners?
- Many teens and adults are. Clear aligners work well for mild to moderate crowding and spacing; more complex bite corrections are sometimes better suited to braces. The best way to know is a consultation, where we take a 3D scan and talk through your options.
- What is early-intervention orthodontics, and when should my child be seen?
- Early-intervention (also called interceptive) orthodontics uses gentle appliances while a child is still growing to guide jaw development and create room for adult teeth. A first orthodontic check-up around age 7 lets us spot issues early, when they are often simpler to correct.
- How can early orthodontics support my child’s breathing?
- A narrow upper jaw can crowd teeth and make nasal breathing harder, so some children fall into habitual mouth-breathing.
