Oakville

A Dentist Oakville Families Can Stay With

Clarkson sits right at the western edge of Mississauga, close enough to the town line that Oakville has always felt like next door. If you're in Oakville and looking for a dentist Oakville families can settle in with for the long term, we're already that dentist for a good number of your neighbours — Clarkson Village Dental has patients coming from across Oakville, and Dr. Ravi has owned the practice since 2015. You'll see him at every visit, from a child's first checkup through to implant and reconstructive work, all kept in-house.

Just over the town line from Oakville

Our office is at 1098 Clarkson Road North, close enough to the Mississauga–Oakville boundary that Bronte — Oakville's own lakefront neighbourhood, with its harbour, break wall at the mouth of Bronte Creek, and the shops along Bronte Road — is only a few minutes away along Lakeshore Road West or the QEW. Further into town, Sixteen Mile Creek, downtown Oakville and Kerr Village near Trafalgar Road, and the Oakville GO station are still a short, straightforward drive, not a special trip. There's parking close to our door, so once you arrive the visit itself is easy.

We're not going to pretend we're inside Oakville — we have one office, in Clarkson, and that's not changing. But for a lot of Oakville families, "just over the line" turns out to be closer than crossing their own town for a dentist downtown or up near the 403.

Many Oakville families already call us their dentist

This isn't a new pitch to Oakville, it's already how things are. A meaningful share of our patients live in Oakville, and they keep coming back for the same reason anyone stays with a dentist for years: they see Dr. Ravi, the same person, every time. He's the one who remembers the crown he placed two years ago and the tooth he's been keeping an eye on since. That continuity is worth more than being the closest name on a map.

Dr. Ravi has training in implant and reconstructive dentistry and carries each case personally, from the first scan to the final result, so nothing gets handed off between providers. It's part of why families who could easily find a dentist inside Oakville choose to make the short drive to Clarkson instead, and why so many end up bringing the rest of their household along. You can read more about his background and training on our team page.

Family, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry, all in-house

Because Dr. Ravi handles the full range personally, most of what an Oakville family needs stays under one roof:

  • Everyday care for the whole family — checkups, cleanings, fillings, and unhurried first visits for young kids, so parents and children can be seen back to back.
  • Cosmetic dentistry — whitening, porcelain veneers, and smaller refinements, planned around what looks natural for you. Results vary from person to person, and whitening or veneers usually aren't covered by CDCP or dental insurance, we'll be upfront about that before anything begins.
  • Implants and full-mouth reconstruction — crowns, bridges, dental implants, and larger rebuilding work, planned and placed here in Clarkson from start to finish.

If dental visits make you anxious, or a procedure runs long, an IV sedation option is available to help you settle in. And if something breaks or a toothache won't quit, call us, we do our best to see people quickly, and there's guidance in the meantime on our emergency dentist page. The full list of what we do is on our services page.

New patients from Oakville, including CDCP, are welcome

We're accepting new patients from Oakville and the surrounding area, including patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). The CDCP helps eligible Canadian residents with the cost of dental care; you can check whether you qualify at canada.ca. If you're ready to become a patient, our new patients page walks through exactly what your first visit looks like.

Proudly independent and dentist-owned since 2015, Clarkson Village Dental has become, for a lot of Oakville households, the dentist just over the town line worth the short drive to keep.
