Mississauga
Family Dentist in Mississauga — Independent, and in Clarkson Village Since 2002
If you're looking for a family dentist in Mississauga, here's the short version: we're Clarkson Village Dental Clinic, an independent practice at 1098 Clarkson Road North, and we've looked after families in this part of the city since 2002. Dr. Ravi has owned the practice since 2015 and sees every patient himself. We're accepting new patients of every age, including patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
Where we are in Mississauga
Mississauga is a big city, so it’s worth being straightforward about where we sit in it.
We’re in Clarkson Village, in the south-west corner, on Clarkson Road North just up from Lakeshore. If you live in Clarkson, Lorne Park, Port Credit, or Lakeview and Mineola, we’re a short drive, and most of our patients come from those neighbourhoods. We also see families from Erin Mills and from Oakville, just over the boundary.
If you’re up near Meadowvale, Streetsville or Malton, we’d be a long trip. We’d rather say that than have you find out on the day. A dentist you can get to easily is a dentist you’ll actually keep appointments with.
There’s parking on site, right by the door, and Clarkson GO is a few minutes away.
What you can have looked after here
Most people would rather not be sent across the city for every second thing. A lot of what would otherwise mean a referral is handled here, by the same dentist.
- Everyday care — checkups, cleanings and preventive work for the whole family, children included
- Fillings, root canal treatment and crowns, many of which are designed and milled here so they finish in a single visit
- Dental implants and full-mouth reconstruction, planned with in-office 3D imaging
- Orthodontic services — clear aligners, braces, and early treatment for children
- Cosmetic work — whitening and veneers
- Sedation options for anyone who finds dental treatment difficult, from nitrous through to IV
- Emergency care, with time kept in the day for urgent problems

The same dentist, every visit
This is the part that tends to matter most once people have been here a while.
At a lot of practices you see whoever is available. Here you see Dr. Ravi — the first visit, the follow-up, and the one three years later. He plans the treatment and he does it. Nothing has to be explained twice, and nobody inherits half a plan from someone else.
The practice is independent and dentist-owned. It isn’t part of a chain, and there’s no head office deciding how long an appointment should take. You can read more about Dr. Ravi and the team on our team page.
Insurance, CDCP, and knowing what things cost
We bill most insurance plans directly, so in most cases you pay your portion and we handle the rest.
We accept patients covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so bring your details and we’ll go through what applies to you.
On cost more generally: we won’t quote you a number over the phone for treatment nobody has looked at yet. What we will do is examine the tooth, explain what’s going on, and give you a clear written estimate before anything begins. Nothing starts until you’ve seen it and agreed to it. If you’re new to us, our new patient page walks through what a first visit looks like.
If something’s gone wrong today
Toothache, a broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, swelling — call us on (905) 855-2622, as early in the day as you can. We keep room for urgent problems and we’ll do our best to see you the same day.
If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, swelling spreading toward your eye or neck, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious facial injury, that’s a medical emergency — call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room.
