Port Credit
A Dentist Port Credit Families Can Rely On, Just West Along Lakeshore
Port Credit sits right where the Credit River meets Lake Ontario — a walkable waterfront village of harbourside patios, a busy marina, the little lighthouse at the water's edge, and a GO train that carries the neighbourhood into the city each morning. If you live in the village and you're looking for a dentist Port Credit families can settle in with for the long term, Clarkson Village Dental is a short, easy drive west along Lakeshore. Dr. Ravi has owned the practice since 2015, and you'll see him at every visit — from a child's first checkup through to implant and reconstructive work, all kept in-house.
The waterfront village, and a short drive west
Port Credit has a rhythm all its own: the harbour and lighthouse at the foot of the river, the green stretch of J.C. Saddington Park and Memorial Park along the shoreline, and Lakeshore Road East lined with cafés and shops you can wander between on foot. It's a neighbourhood people are genuinely proud to call home.
We're one clinic, and it isn't inside the village — it's at 1098 Clarkson Road North in Clarkson, a few minutes west along Lakeshore. There's no second office in Port Credit, and for most families here there doesn't need to be, because the drive is so easy. Head west out of the village on Lakeshore Road, through Lorne Park, and you're at our door in a short trip. Parking is simple and close to the entrance, so a visit fits neatly around a school run, a workday, or a weekend down by the water. If you commute on the GO from Port Credit station, we're an easy stop on the way home, too.
One trusted dentist, for the long term
Port Credit is the kind of place people stay — families who have watched the waterfront grow up around them and still know their neighbours by name. Dental care works best the same way: steady, and looked after by someone who knows your history. Here, one dentist cares for your whole family. You'll see Dr. Ravi at every visit, so your care stays consistent from one year to the next.
That continuity really shows when treatment gets more involved. Dr. Ravi keeps implant and reconstructive work in-house and carries each case personally, from the first scan through to the final result, so your plan and your history stay in one place. For a lot of Port Credit families, that's exactly why the whole household ends up with one dentist. There's more about Dr. Ravi's training on our team page.
Family, cosmetic, and reconstructive care in one place
Because Dr. Ravi handles the full range himself, most of what your family needs stays in one familiar place, a short drive from the village:
- Everyday family care — routine checkups, cleanings, fillings, and easygoing first visits for little ones, so the whole family can come in together.
- Cosmetic dentistry — teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, and subtle refinements, shaped around a natural look for you. Results vary from person to person, and we'll be honest about what's realistic before we start. Cosmetic work like whitening and veneers usually isn't covered by CDCP or dental insurance.
- Restorative and reconstructive care — crowns, bridges, dental implants, and full-mouth rehabilitation, all planned and placed at our Clarkson office.
A fair bit of that care is gentler and quicker than people expect. With single-visit ceramic crowns made using CEREC technology, many crowns can be scanned, designed, and fitted in one appointment — the details are on our same-day crowns page. And if dental visits make you anxious, or a procedure runs long, an IV sedation option can help you settle in — there's more on our sedation dentistry page. The full range is here, and we'll always talk you through it first. No question is too small.
