New patients
A Mississauga Dentist Accepting New Patients of Every Age
Welcome. If you're looking for a dentist accepting new patients in Mississauga, we'd be glad to meet you. Clarkson Village Dental Clinic has cared for local families since 2002, and Dr. Ravi has owned the practice since 2015. We're independent and dentist-owned, and we're accepting new patients of every age, from a child's very first checkup to seniors who've been coming for decades. That includes patients covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Whatever brought you here, there's a place for you in our chair.
You're welcome here, whatever your age
Some patients haven’t seen a dentist in years. Some are brand new to the neighbourhood. Some are parents booking a first checkup for a little one, and some are looking for a single trusted dentist to care for three generations under one roof. All of you are welcome.
We see children, teens, adults, and seniors. Families are welcome to book together, and we’ll do our best to line up back-to-back appointments so one trip covers everyone. If it’s been a long time since your last visit, that’s okay too, there’s no lecture waiting for you here. No question is too small, and there’s no such thing as a patient we’re too busy to get to know.
We care for patients right across south-west Mississauga, including neighbours from Clarkson, Lorne Park, and the surrounding streets. If you’ve just moved to the area and need to find a new dentist, we’re an easy first call.
What your first visit looks like
Your first visit is unhurried. We set aside real time so nothing feels rushed.
You’ll meet Dr. Ravi, who sees every patient personally. We’ll talk through your history, any concerns you have, and what you’d like from your dental care. Then Dr. Ravi does a gentle, thorough exam, and, where it helps, a set of images so we can see the full picture. You can learn more about Dr. Ravi’s background and training on our team page.
From there, you get a clear plan in plain language. If something needs attention, we’ll explain what it is, why it matters, and what your options are. We’ll walk you through it before anything begins. Nothing gets started without you understanding it first, and there’s never any pressure to say yes on the spot.
It helps to bring a few things to your first appointment: a piece of ID, your dental insurance details if you have coverage, and your CDCP information if you’re enrolled. If you have recent x-rays or records from a previous dentist, those are useful too, though we can take fresh images if you don’t. Mostly, just bring your questions.
The same dentist, every visit
You’ll see Dr. Ravi at every visit.
That continuity matters. Dr. Ravi gets to know your teeth, your history, and how you like to be cared for, so your care builds on itself year after year instead of starting over. Small changes get spotted early because the same person is watching. And when you’re comfortable with your dentist, you’re more likely to keep up with the regular care that keeps problems small. It’s a simple idea that makes a real difference: one trusted dentist who knows you, for the long run.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), plainly
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a federal program that helps eligible Canadian residents with the cost of dental care. It has brought many people back to the dentist, some for the first time in years.
Here’s what you need to know: we accept the CDCP, and we’re glad to welcome patients covered under it. If you’re not sure whether you qualify, you can check your eligibility at canada.ca. We can’t decide eligibility for you, and we won’t give benefits advice, but once you’re approved, booking your visit with us is straightforward. Just let our front desk know you’re on the CDCP when you call, and we’ll take it from there.
Insurance and direct billing
We offer direct insurance billing, so where your plan allows it we can bill your insurer directly and you settle only the balance. Bring your plan details to your first visit and we’ll help you make the most of your coverage, and we’ll always give you a clear estimate before treatment so you know the costs up front. When work is needed, you’ll know what to expect first.
One trusted dentist for your whole family
Most of what your family will ever need, Dr. Ravi handles right here. Everyday care like checkups, cleanings, and fillings sits alongside more involved work, including implants and full reconstruction, all kept in-house — so more of your care stays with the dentist who already knows you.
That range is worth knowing about even on day one. It means that if a tooth cracks, if you’re an anxious patient who does better with an IV sedation option, or if you’d like a crown finished in a single visit with our same-day CEREC crowns, you already have a dentist who can help, no starting over with someone new. You can see the full range on our services page, and if you’re searching close to home, we’re the neighbourhood practice for Clarkson and the surrounding area.
How to book, no pressure
Becoming a patient is easy. Call us at (905) 855-2622, or request a visit and we’ll find a time that works for you. Let us know it’s your first visit and whether you’re bringing family, and we’ll plan accordingly.
There’s no obligation and no hard sell. Come in, meet Dr. Ravi, and get a clear, honest read on your dental health. If you decide we’re the right fit, we’d be honoured to care for you.
